Get to know what we believe and teach.
Christianity is not about what we do for God, but what He has done for us in Jesus. Our identity lies what we believe and trust in- what we do flows from that. The truths we hold are not original to us, nor are they new or novel. Quite the opposite.
The come to us from God through his word, the Bible. It is his self-revelation of who he is and what he does. The core teachings of scripture that we confess and proclaim are captured in the ecumenical creeds ( Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, Athanasian Creed, and Creed of Chalcedon) and the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith.
